Meet the newest member of team Equilibrium: Jamie Burrows.
Jamie has joined our growing sales team as a Cyber Security Sales Consultant.
Why did you join Equilibrium?
- To focus my career on an aspect of IT that I have a real passion for, security.
- Being able to hone my skillset to make a real difference in something I believe in.
- Working with a team of individuals who are not swallowed up by a corporate entity.
What are you most looking forward to?
Other than working alongside this fantastic team and helping businesses solve their IT security challenges, I’m most looking forward to the first step to building a business relationship; the first handshake.
What are you interested in outside of work?
I’m a keen gamer, coder, match fisherman and movie buff. I enjoy a wide range of TV series and music. But lets be honest, I have two kids, one 6 and one 3, I don’t have much time for anything else!
Tell us about your career history?
I have a predominantly IT related background. Early on in my career I was based in the UAE as 1st line helpdesk support, working up to second line, IT account management, IT manager and technical account management spanning over 12 years.
My professional career has evolved from a technical nature, into a more sales orientated role over the last 6 years which I would now class as my “calling”. Since then I have been focussed on sales within the IT security industry, helping businesses solve security issues.
Professionally, I take pride in being able to provide professional advice and solving security concerns with an honest, transparent approach.
