Equilibrium achieve prestigious CREST certification for our penetration testing services.

As a specialist security provider in the industry, we value the importance of achieving the highest security certifications. Although we have been carrying out penetration tests for over a decade, Equilibrium are proud to announce we have recently achieved the prestigious CREST accreditation for our penetration testing services.

This accreditation is a proven cyber security framework which demonstrates our up to date knowledge of the latest vulnerabilities and techniques used by real attackers.  In order to achieve this certification you must undertake a series of thorough examinations which are assessed and approved by GCHQ and NCSC.

Becoming CREST accredited penetration testers is the highest accolade within this field. This is a great opportunity to show our customers that we are the go-to specialists for all penetration testing services.

“CREST is delighted to welcome Equilibrium Security as a member company. To become a CREST member, companies go through a very demanding assessment process that examines test methodologies, legal and regulatory requirements, data protection standards, logging and auditing, internal and external communications with stakeholders, as well as how test data security is maintained. By becoming a CREST member Equilibrium Security is demonstrating to its customers and to the Industry as whole, its commitment to consistently delivering the highest professional security services standards.”Ian Glover, President of CREST

Anish Chauhan, Director of Equilibrium Security Services:

‘I am absolutely delighted that we have been awarded our CREST certification.  We already adhere to a very high standard of cybersecurity in general and of course penetration testing methodology and procedures, now we have the accreditation to demonstrate this.  As a business we’re continuing to grow but we have no intention of compromising  on quality and this accreditation is testimony to this. We’re very much looking forward to providing new and existing clients with CREST approved penetration testing services.’

What makes Equilibrium different?

We have been undertaking penetration tests of varying types over many years and are well equipped to understand the practicalities of testing complex systems without inhibiting business productivity.

Whilst most penetration testing companies simply carry out the test and provide a report of the findings, Equilibrium offer an ongoing testing service. This involves working alongside our customers to remediate the issues found and help to build their security defences. We do not recommend undertaking penetration tests as a one-off activity. In order to protect your infrastructure you must have a proactive approach to tackling emerging threats.
